Easter

Friday evening some friends of ours organized an Easter egg hunt for the kids at one of the parks in our neighborhood. We had a lot of fun. Peter practiced walking and ate a cupcake and even got some eggs into his bucket.

Look an egg!

He knew just what to do with those eggs.

Today we stayed home and watched conference on our computer and Peter clapped for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. After conference was over we had a yummy Easter dinner with Tim & Megan & Shaun David. Peter had so much fun walking and playing with his cousin.

I did a family "basket" again this year, though most of it was candy. :) Peter got another *Traditional Easter Monkey which was harder to find than I anticipated. The only monkey that I could find was a Reeses monkey in the Easter section. I guess next year we'll have to buy a monkey off season and save it for Easter.

*I posted a picture on facebook last year of Peter with the monkey he got and a friend made the comment of, "Of course, the traditional easter monkey." And we took it to heart. :)

It's hard to decided which toy to play with.

Stuff needs to go in the bucket.

Let's play!

Peter LOVES Baths

Peter gets a bath just about every night, not because he's dirty but because it's part of his bedtime routine and I really believe that it helps him calm down and get into sleep mode.

His latest thing with baths is: I will leave the room to start his bath and he will hear the water running and come find me. It's really cute to see him make his way down the hall in pursuit of the awesome running water. :)

Hey that's my duck!

I'm gonna get you!

Happiness is a rubber duckie in a bubble bath.

Peter really likes his socks.

Some battles aren't worth fighting.

Peter discovers how to stop the bath from ending.

Before this video Peter had closed the drain once or twice total, but he apparently decided that it was worth his effort to do it more than that. Now he tries to close the drain after every bath.

Peter also likes to take baths with his cousins. They are so funny together.

This was Peter's first bath with cousins. There's a lot more water in there than he's used to so Andrew had to help him out a bit.
